What does cash look like, or where has this note been?

Some say, money does not smell. In other words it does not matter how or what you do to get it, as long as you have it at the end. Let's see if it does or it doesn't. I don't entirely agree with this statement. A lot of the time, you can actually tell where that cash has come form or where it has been. All of the pictures below are taken by me. Thats just some of the cash from our different businesses.

Here are the takings from the night club, a lot of the notes are of small denomination and all the notes are sticky. They are sticky because in the heat of the moment the barmen just grab the cash and put it in the till, without washing their hands in between. Some of the alcohol is pretty sticky when it dries.

Here is the cash from a clothes shop, where prices are predominantly over $50. Most of the notes are higher denomination and look like they have just been taken out from the ATM

Here is the cash from one of our training centres, the prices are over $45. One can see that most of the notes are of higher denomination and also what is interesting, some of the notes have creases on them. Thats because the people usually plan ahead to come to training and bend the notes to put them aside to pay for the training.

Here is another picture of cash from the training centre, its more apparent here that the notes have been folded, sometimes more than once.

I think by now, you get the picture why I say that not all cash is the same and a lot of the times you can tell where its from. Now for the money shot? What profession is this cash from? There is a hint in my first post. Most of the notes are of higher denomination and bent randomly. Please comment with your answers and pictures of cash from your profession/industry.

  2. In my restaurant I receive all sorts of cash.
Recently received a rolled note with white stuff on the inside of the end rolled first. That was a first for me.
